Night on the beachLooking at night’s sun
Wind through my hair
Watching crabs run
Waves roll against the shore
Water glints in the light
Warm breeze all around
What a marvelous night
Salt in the air
The sweet smell of beach
Sand sticking to my skin like a bloodsucking leach
Seasons come and seasons go,
But the one thing I love about the beach is the absence of snow
Sitting on the porch looking up at the sky
I see many shapes and sizes of clouds lazily drifting by.
